ARTICLE 1: NAME AND HEADQUARTERS OF THE ASSOCIATION:
It is Turkish Association of Urology.
The Headquarters of the Association is in Istanbul. When necessary branch offices and representations may be opened in accordance with law. Branch offices may not open representative offices.
RTICLE 2: PURPOSES OF THE ASSOCIATION:
With the aim of carrying out scientific and professional studies in the field of urology and medicine together with all other disciplines related to urology to the contemporary level and beyond; the association endeavors to conduct, to have conducted, to support and to encourage all sort of studies. It is not a political association.
ARTICLE 3: ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION:
The association may do the following in order to realize the purpose of the association:
- The association arranges scientific meetings, seminars, symposiums, national and international congresses with the aim stated in Article 2.
- The association arranges faculty and post- specialization studies and academic development studies.
- The association tries to provide competence and development of colleagues in occupational and medical science studies and to protect and further their rights.
- The association collaborates with other occupational foundations, faculties, educational organizations and medical academies.
- The association is authorized to carry out the duties of setting up and inviting to partnership with other national and international organizations, to send delegates and to receive delegates sent.
- The association may send delegates and representatives to all sorts of national and international occupational activities. To this end it may receive and make payment. That associations may invite members of associations and organizations in foreign countries to Turkey or send their members or representatives abroad in accordance with the invitation of the foreign associations and organizations depends on the authorization to be given by the Ministry of Interior upon taking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant ministries’ opinion.
- When necessary, the association provides coordination and utility by establishing relations with governmental bodies and legal foundations.
